1. Who we are

This website (ghettogroove.music) is operated by CTRL8 BV, registered in Belgium under enterprise number (KBO/BCE) BE0844.839.019, registered address Brilstraat 9a, 9340 Lede. For any privacy-related question, contact us at info@ghettogroove.music.

2. What data we collect

When you submit a demo through our contact form, we collect:

• Your name / artist name
• Your email address
• Genre (optional)
• A link to your music (SoundCloud, Dropbox, etc.)
• Any message you include

We also automatically log your IP address for a short period, solely to prevent spam and abuse of the submission form (rate limiting). We do not use cookies for tracking or analytics on this site.

3. Why we process this data

• To review your demo submission and respond to you (legal basis: consent, given by submitting the form - Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR)
• To protect the form against automated abuse (legal basis: legitimate interest - Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)

4. How long we keep it

• Demo submissions and correspondence: kept for 6 months after submission, then deleted, unless we've entered into a working relationship with you.
• IP addresses logged for rate-limiting: automatically deleted after 1 hour.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your submission is sent via our hosting provider's mail service to reach our team internally. Our hosting provider Easyhost may process data as our data processor, under EU/EEA data protection standards.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Ask us to correct or delete it
• Restrict or object to our processing
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent at any time (this won't affect processing done before withdrawal)
